Vehicle Speed Sensor Inspection

Check output of VSS signal. Raise and support vehicle. Disconnect ECM harness connector. Using DVOM, measure voltage between ECM harness connector terminal No. 18 (Yellow wire, 22-pin connector) or terminal No. 19 (Yellow/White wire, 24-pin connector). See Figure , Figure and Figure . If DVOM does not display a pulse voltage, replace VSS and retest.
