Diagnostic Trouble Code Definitions

NOTE: DTCs can only be retrieved by using a scan tool. See ENTERING ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTICS  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.

When Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is obtained, refer to appropriate DTC test procedure under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS  .

P1751 (3) A/T Control Relay Malfunction
(1) Some DTCs use 2 trip malfunction detection logic that required DTC to set 2 times during 2 separate drive cycles for MIL to illuminate. If DTC is for a fault that may affect emissions, MIL will also illuminate.

(2) This DTC will set when first trip fault is detected.
