Other Monitor

This monitor applies to DTCs P0101, P0102, P0106, P0107, P0108, P0111, P0112, P0113, P0116, P0117, P0118, P0121, P0122, P0123, P0125, P0130, P0131, P0132, P0134, P0135, P0136, P0137, P0138, P0141, P0181, P0182, P0183, P0201, P0202, P0203, P0204, P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0403, P0443, P0446, P0506, P0507, P1400 or P2066. Following conditions must be met during the test:

NOTE: Remove all test equipment from vehicle and install all components and connectors that were removed or disconnected during testing.

Monitor takes about 10 minutes to complete. This cycle must be completed 2 times. Run monitor as shown. See Fig 1 . Perform steps as follows:

  1. Start engine.
  2. Accelerate to 35-40 MPH (56-64 km/h) and travel for 300 seconds or more.
  3. Drive for 5 minutes or more at 35-40 MPH (4th gear on M/T).
  4. After stopping the vehicle, continue idling for 300 seconds. While engine is idling, A/C switch must be in OFF position, lights and accessories must be off, steering wheel must be straight ahead, and transaxle must be in Neutral. After idling for 300 seconds, turn the ignition switch to LOCK position.
  5. Check for DTCs.
  6. If DTC P0101, P0102, P0106, P0107, P0108, P0111, P0112, P0113, P0116, P0117, P0118, P0121, P0122, P0123, P0125, P0130, P0131, P0132, P0134, P0135, P0136, P0137, P0138, P0141, P0181, P0182, P0183, P0201, P0202, P0203, P0204, P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0403, P0443, P0446, P0506, P0507, P1400 or P2066 resets, return to appropriate test.
