SERVICE INFORMATION

TESTING OF REMOTE TRANSMITTERS  - All models with remote transmitters. Operation and signal strength of remote keyless entry, remote engine start and MiEV remote transmitters can be verified using the Mitsubishi Radio Frequency (RF) Detector special tool (part #: MIT47305). When troubleshooting the operational range (up to approximately 40ft./12m) or intermittent function of a transmitter, test it according to instructions included with the RF detector for function and signal strength. Before replacing a transmitter, if there is no signal detected or signal strength tests weak, replace the battery and recheck.
