New Navigation Map Software - 2007-2008 Outlander, Endeavor & Galant Ralliart, 2008 Lancer . Additional information is now available regarding the updated map software listed as Version 2006-1 which is now available for vehicles with MMCS.

New software is available to update the MMCS geographic data (maps, POI, etc.) with the latest available information. Each kit includes the mapping software and a "version up" key. This key can be used only one time.

There are two part numbers, for the upgrade kit, Part number MZ360177EX is for 2007-08 Outlander and 2008 Lancer, and part number 8750A075 is for 2007-08 Galant Ralliart and Endeavor SE. Instructions for upload are included with the kit. As the MMCS in the Lancer and Outlander is hard disc drive based, updating the mapping software takes approximately 1.5 hours. The MMCS in the Galant and Endeavor requires that the DVDs be in the player, so loading time is not a factor. A separate upgrade file will update the Grace-notes database, which is needed for MP3 player song display, and takes about 3 minutes to install.
