Parallel Hybrid Run Check Mode

To activate/deactivate the parallel hybrid run check mode, follow one of the procedures below:

<To activate with the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE)>

• Activate item No. 1 "Parallel hybrid run check mode" on the special function menu for the PHEV-ECU.

<To deactivate with the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE)>

• Deactivate item No. 1 "Parallel hybrid run check mode" on the special function menu for the PHEV-ECU.
• Turn the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to OFF.
• After the drive mode is switched to the parallel hybrid mode once, stop the vehicle (vehicle speed: 0 km/h).

<Without the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE)>

1. Turn the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to ON.
2. Pull the parking brake lever.
3. Press the AWD lock switch at least 10 times within seven seconds.
4. Release the parking brake lever.

<To deactivate without the scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE)>

• Turn the power supply mode of the electric motor switch to OFF.
• After the drive mode is switched to the parallel hybrid mode once, stop the vehicle (vehicle speed: 0 km/h).
