Feedback Carburetor System: Description

This electronically controlled carburetor improves driveability and fuel economy while reducing emissions. This system is offered exclusively on Sentra models that are equipped with the 1.6L (E16S) type engines. System components for California vehicles include an Electronic Control Unit (ECU), crankshaft angle sensor, air temperature sensor, coolant temperature sensor, exhaust gas sensor, throttle valve switch, Neutral and clutch switches (M/T), inhibitor switch (A/T), vacuum sensor, starter switch and vehicle speed sensor. Federal vehicles use all these components as well as a battery voltage sensor, barometric pressure sensor, air conditioner switch and a power steering pressure switch.
