Feedback Carburetor System: Testing: Notes
CAUTION:
Ensure that ignition switch is in the "OFF" position whenever disconnecting any electrical connectors. Be extremely careful not to bend or break 10-pin or 20-pin connectors or pins during testing. Do not touch circuit tester probe to any unnecessary pins during testing or damage may result. After securely reconnecting harness connectors, ensure system performance by retesting system.
NOTE:
When testing for intermittent problems, use of SYSTEMS CHECK is not recommended. Intermittent problems are often caused by loose electrical connections, which if not corrected would indicate replacement of unnecessary components. Diagnosis of intermittent problems should begin with a thorough physical and visual inspection of electrical connectors.
