Mixture Heating System: Description

Mixture heating system consists of a Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) heater installed between carburetor and intake manifold. When engine starts, the PTC heater is electrically energized and the air-fuel mixture which passes through the heater is heated. Heater current is cut off by coolant temperature switch when warm-up is complete.
