Fuel Pump

If fuel pump does not run, disconnect fuel pump connector. Provide ground (Black wire fuel pump terminal) and battery voltage to fuel pump connector. See appropriate wiring diagram in WIRING DIAGRAMS article to determine wire colors. If pump runs, see RELAYS in this article for testing, or repair open or short in harness between relay and pump. If pump does not run, replace fuel pump. See Figure .
