Control Solenoid

Disconnect vacuum lines and electrical connector from solenoid, located on timing belt end of engine, below power valve actuator. Apply vacuum to either port. Vacuum should hold. Apply battery voltage across solenoid connector terminals. Vacuum should NOT hold. Replace solenoid if it does not operate as specified.
