Inhibitor Switch Test (Maxima VG30E)

Disconnect and inspect inhibitor switch 4-pin (contains Green/Black and Brown wires) harness connectors for pushed-out, bent, damaged or corroded terminals. Repair connector as necessary. Connector is located at top right of bellhousing. Check continuity between Green/Black wire and Brown wire of inhibitor switch 4-pin connector. Continuity should exist ONLY in Park and Neutral. If continuity exists in any other position, replace inhibitor switch.
