Fail-Safe System Test (Maxima VG30E)

Disconnect crankshaft position sensor and attempt to start engine. If engine begins to run in a few seconds, system is functioning properly. If engine does not begin to run in a few seconds, failure to start may not be caused by crankshaft position sensor. Determine cause of problem using TESTS W/O CODES article.
