Check Control Function

Start engine. Connect voltmeter between ECM terminal No. 105 and ground. See Figure and Figure . At 2000 RPM, battery voltage should be present. At 4000 RPM, .6-.8 volt should be present. If voltage is not as specified, go to next step. If voltage is as specified, inspect vacuum hose for clogging, cracks or bad connection. Repair vacuum hose as necessary.
