Power Transistor

NOTE: The DVOM must have a diode check position and be able to measure up to 20 megohms to perform this test.

Disconnect camshaft position sensor and ignition coil 6-pin and 2-pin connectors. Check power transistor resistance between pin No. 8 (Green wire) and pin No. 2 (Black wire). Resistance should be more than zero ohms. If resistance is incorrect, replace distributor.
