Remote Keyless Entry Receiver System Inspection

- REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY RECEIVER POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT INSPECTION
- Disconnect remote keyless entry receiver connector.
- Check voltage waveform between remote keyless entry receiver connector terminal 4 and ground using an oscilloscope.

OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 2.
- NG: GO TO 3
- REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY RECEIVER GROUND CIRCUIT INSPECTION
Check continuity between remote keyless entry receiver connector terminal 1 and ground.

1 - Ground: Continuity should exist.
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 3.
- NG: GO TO 4 .
- REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY RECEIVER OUTPUT SIGNAL INSPECTION
- Connect remote keyless entry receiver connector.
- Check voltage waveform between remote keyless entry receiver connector terminal 2 and ground using an oscilloscope.

OK or NG
- OK: Remote keyless entry receiver system is OK.
- NG: GO TO 4.
- HARNESS CONTINUITY INSPECTION
- Disconnect remote keyless entry receiver and BCM connectors.
- Check continuity between receiver connector M120 terminals 1, 2, 4 and BCM connector M18 terminals 18, 19, 20.
1 - 18: Continuity should exist.
2 - 20: Continuity should exist.
4 - 19: Continuity should exist.
- Check continuity between remote keyless entry receiver terminals 1, 2 and 4 and ground.

1 - Ground: Continuity should exist.
2 - Ground: Continuity should not exist.
4 - Ground: Continuity should not exist.
OK or NG
- OK: System is OK.
- NG: Repair the harness between the remote keyless entry receiver and BCM.
