Check IPDM E/R Operation

CHECK IPDM E/R INPUT VOLTAGE
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Check voltage between IPDM E/R connector E9 terminal 51 and ground.
  51 (G/O) - Ground: Battery voltage
OK or NG
1. OK: Replace IPDM E/R.
2. NG: GO TO 2.

CHECK IPDM E/R HARNESS
1. Disconnect IPDM E/R and horn relay connector.
2. Check continuity between IPDM E/R connector E9 terminal 51 (G/O) and horn relay connector E11 terminal 1 (G/O).
  51 (G/O) - 1 (G/O): Continuity should exist.
OK or NG
1. OK: Check harness connection.
2. NG: Repair or replace harness.
