Steering Shift Switch: Removal

  1. Park the vehicle on a level surface.
  2. Remove the driver air bag module. Refer to , "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  3. Remove the steering wheel. Refer to , "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  4. Remove horn switch.
  5. Partially remove steering shift switch assembly.
  6. Remove steering wheel rear cover.
  7. Disconnect the vehicle harness connector and from steering shift switch.
  8. Remove steering shift switch assembly.
