Programmer Removal & Installation: Removal

Disconnect battery cable, remove glove box (all models), and cold air duct (Chevrolet only). Disconnect electrical connector plug and vacuum harness from vacuum valve. Loosen adjustment screw and disengage link assembly from programmer output shaft. Remove mounting screws from programmer case, and pull programmer straight off blower housing. Take care to avoid damaging the resistor assembly on rear of case. Remove cover to gain access to inside of programmer.
