Testing Programmer (on the bench)

With the programmer removed from the car, plug tester harness connector in at programmer connector. Plug the J-23713 electrical test connector (furnished with tester) in to the other tester electrical connector, connect Yellow wire to positive terminal and Black wire to negative terminal of 12 volt DC power supply. Install dummy plug (furnished with tester) on programmer rotary vacuum valve and connect the plug to a vacuum source of 20" of Hg minimum. Make all tests in order and as directed on instruction cards in tester cover.
