Fuel Systems

NOTE: When servicing fuel systems observe the following precautions:

1. Handle all fuel related parts with care, as they may easily be damaged.
2. Use new gaskets or O-rings when installing fuel lines or injectors (if equipped).
3. Lightly lubricate O-rings and flare connections with clean 30 weight engine oil.
4. Check for leaks after servicing fuel system, and correct as needed.
^ Do NOT - operate the fuel pump without fuel. The pump is lubricated by the fuel flowing through it.
^ Do NOT - depress the accelerator pedal on fuel injected models while trying to start the car.
^ Do NOT - use gear lubricant or brake fluid to lubricate fuel system connections and/or O-rings.
