Vacuum Break

Plug air bleed hole (if equipped) on vacuum break. Using a hand-held vacuum pump, apply 15 in. Hg to vacuum break. Check and see if plunger has moved through its full travel. Observe vacuum gauge. Vacuum should hold for at least 20 seconds. If plunger did not move to its full travel or vacuum did not hold as specified, replace vacuum break.
