Idle Learn Without Tech 1

Perform IDLE SPEED CONTROL (ISC) CHECK (4.0L) before performing this procedure. Start engine. Allow engine to idle until coolant temperature is 176°F (80°C), then allow to idle for an additional 5 minutes. Place transaxle in Park. Briefly accelerate engine to over 1500 RPM. Return engine to idle. Apply brakes and place transaxle in Drive. Idle engine for 2 minutes or until Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) goes out.
