Left Front Window Does Not Operate
- Disconnect express down module connector, located at center of left front door. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect test light between ground and Brown wire terminal (power) at express down module connector. If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is off, repair open in Brown wire between power window 25-amp circuit breaker and express down module.
- Connect test light between Gray wire and Dark Blue wire terminals at express down module connector. Press left front window switch to UP and DOWN positions. If test light is on in both switch positions, go to next step. If test light is not on in both switch positions, repair open in Gray wire or Dark Blue wire between master switch and express down module. If wire is okay, replace master switch.
- Disconnect left front window motor connector. Connect test light between ground and Dark Blue wire at left front window motor connector. Press left front window switch to UP position. If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is off, repair open in Dark Blue wire between left front window motor and express down module.
- Reconnect left front window motor connector. Connect a fused jumper between 2 Brown wire terminals at express down module connector. If left front window motor operates, go to next step. If left front window motor does not operate, repair open in Brown wire between express down module and left front window motor. If wire is okay, replace motor.
- Connect a fused jumper between ground and Brown wire to window motor at express down module harness connector. Press left front window switch to UP position. If left front window motor does not operate, replace motor. If left front window motor operates, check express down module harness connector for poor connection. If okay, replace express down module.
