Oil Pressure Indicator Lights Continuously With No Loss OFSERIAL Data
- Using scan tool, monitor PCM. If PCM is commanding oil pressure indicator ON, go to appropriate TESTS W/O CODES article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE section. If PCM is not commanding oil pressure indicator ON, go to next step.
- Using scan tool, monitor BFC SPI serial data link. If BFC is commanding oil pressure indicator OFF and indicator is illuminated, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT PANEL article.
