Cruise Indicator Lights Continuously With No Loss Of Serial Data
- Using scan tool, monitor PCM. If PCM is commanding CRUISE indicator ON, go to appropriate BASIC TESTING article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE section. Refer to menu below. If PCM is commanding CRUISE indicator OFF, go to next step.
- Using scan tool, monitor BFC SPI serial data link. If BFC is commanding CRUISE indicator ON, replace BFC. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION . If BFC is commanding CRUISE indicator OFF and indicator is illuminated, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT PANEL article.
