Left Seat Does Not Manually Recline In Either Direction

  1. If diagnostic system check was performed, go to next step. If diagnostic system check was not performed, go to DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  .
  2. Disconnect left seat switch connector. Using DVOM, check voltage between left seat switch harness connector terminal "F" (Orange wire) and ground. If reading is about 12 volts, go to next step. If reading is not about 12 volts, go to step 5).
  3. Check voltage between left seat switch harness connector terminals "F" (Orange wire) and "G" (Black wire). If reading is about 12 volts, go to next step. If reading is not about 12 volts, go to step 6).
  4. Replace left seat switch. Perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  .
  5. Repair open or short to ground in Orange wire between left seat switch and instrument panel fuse block. Perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  .
  6. Repair open in Black wire between left seat switch and ground. Perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  .
