Left Front Window Does Not Operate
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Disconnect express down module located in driver's door. Using a test light, backprobe between ground and Brown wire terminal at express down module connector. If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is off, repair open in Brown wire between express down module and power window 30-amp circuit breaker located in power distribution center.
- Backprobe between Gray wire and Dark Blue wire terminals at express down module harness connector. While observing test light, press left front window switch at master switch to up and down positions. If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is off, check Dark Blue and Gray wire between master switch and express down module for open. Check connection at master switch. If okay, replace master switch.
- Disconnect Left front window motor. Backprobe between Dark Blue wire at left window motor harness connector and ground. Press left front window switch to UP position. If test light is on, go to next step. If test light is off, repair open Dark Blue wire between master window switch and left front window motor.
- Restore electrical connections. Connect a fused jumper between both Brown wire on express down window module harness connector. Turn ignition on. If left front window motor runs, go to next step. If left front window motor does not run, check Brown wire between left front window motor and express down module for open. If Brown wire is okay, replace window motor.
- Connect a fused jumper between Brown wire on express down module harness connector and ground. If left front window motor runs, check express down window module harness connector for corrosion or damage. If okay, replace express down window module. If left front window motor does not run, check left front window motor harness connector for corrosion or damage. If okay, replace window motor.
