Window Inboard/Outboard Tilt

  1. Mark all adjustments. Loosen stabilizer bracket assembly fore/aft and glass tilt adjustments. Loosen glass tilt adjustment. See Figure .
  2. Adjust primary glass tilt adjustment in or out as needed. Tighten primary glass tilt adjustment nut. Raise and lower glass. Ensure all other adjustments are not restraining regulator movement. Lower glass to full down position. Ensure front guide channel is free to move. Tighten secondary glass tilt adjuster.
  3. Sitting inside vehicle, close door and raise glass slowly. Watch glass run up to and over rear seal to ensure seal will not be damaged. If glass starts to cut or dive inside of seal, do not raise glass any further. Readjust glass outward.
  4. Repeat tilt adjustment procedure if necessary. If glass cannot be tilted inboard or outboard enough to correct glass location at full up, seal retainer must be moved outward or inward.
  5. Tighten stabilizer bracket assembly adjustments. Ensure glass guidance module is not moved during tightening process. retighten all adjustments.
