DTC U2001: Invalid Instrument Panel Transmitted SPI Data: Testing

  1. If BFC diagnostic system check was performed, go to next step. If BFC diagnostic system check was not performed, see procedures in BFC DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  .
  2. Diagnose and repair DTC U2002 through U2007. If repair is complete, go to step 5). If repair is not complete, go to next step.
  3. Using scan tool, check DTCs. If DTC U2001 is current and DTCs U2002-U2007 are not current, go to next step. If DTC U2001 is current and DTCs U2002-U2007 are also current, go to step 2).
  4. Replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT PANEL article. Go to next step.
  5. Clear DTCs. Perform BFC DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  .
