Circuit Description

PASS-Lock(R) detection circuit is completed when ignition key is inserted in ignition lock cylinder. BCM compares the valid resistance value of PASS-Lock(R) cylinder to the valid resistance programmed in BCM. If proper resistance value is read, BCM allows unlocking of steering column and allows PCM fuel enable system processing to occur. If resistance value is incorrect, DTC will set.
