All Windows Inoperative

  1. Ensure power window circuit breaker is not open. If circuit breaker is open, go to step 7). If circuit breaker is not open, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect left front window switch connector(s). Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using a test light, backprobe between ground and master window switch connector Yellow wire terminal. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 6).
  3. Using a test light, backprobe between master window switch connector Black wire and Yellow wire terminals. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step 5).
  4. Replace master window switch. Recheck system operation.
  5. Repair open circuit in Black wire between window master switch and ground. Recheck system operation.
  6. Repair poor connection or open in Yellow wire between master switch and fuse block. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Recheck system operation.
  7. Repair short to ground in Yellow wire between master window switch and fuse block. Recheck system operation.
