Test 5: Express Down Feature Inoperative

NOTE: Improper operation of express down function may occur if excessive effort is necessary to move window up and down. This may be caused by an improperly wound window regulator spring or worn or misadjusted regulator.
  1. Check for open in Dark Blue wire between master switch assembly 10-pin connector terminal "C" and express down module 4-pin connector terminal "C". See WIRING DIAGRAMS  and COMPONENT LOCATIONS  . Repair as necessary. If Dark Blue wire circuit is okay, go to next step.
  2. Check for a poor connection at express down module connector terminals "A" (Brown wire) and "C" (Dark Blue wire). Repair as necessary. If connections are okay, replace express down module. See EXPRESS DOWN WINDOW MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
