Diagnostic Aids

When a malfunction (such as open fuse) occurs while modules are communicating, a lost communication DTC is set as a current DTC. Lost communication DTC is cleared when ignition switch is turned off, but history DTC remains. When modules begin to communicate again, module with open fuse will not be learned by other modules which will set DTC U1000 as current.
