  3. Repair short to power in Pink wire between IPC connector and CLUSTER fuse. See WIRING DIAGRAMS in ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS - INTRIGUE article. After repair, go to step  15 .
  4. Leaving test light connected as specified in step  2 . Turn ignition switch to RUN position. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step  6 .
  5. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Connect test light between ground and IPC harness connector terminal A6 (Purple wire). See Fig 1 . While observing test light, turn ignition switch from LOCK to ACC, then RUN positions. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, go to step  8 .
  6. Repair open or poor connection in Pink wire between IPC connector and CLUSTER fuse. See appropriate wiring diagram in ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS - INTRIGUE article. After repair, go to step  15 .
  7. Repair short to power in Purple wire between IPC connector and CRANK SIGNAL, BCM, CLUSTER fuse. See WIRING DIAGRAMS in ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS - INTRIGUE article. After repair, go to step  15 .
  8. With test light connected as in step  5 , turn ignition switch to RUN position. If test light illuminates when key is turned to RUN position, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate when key is turned to RUN position, go to step  10 .
  9. Turn ignition switch to ACC position. Connect test light between ground and IPC harness connector terminal A2 (Purple wire). See Fig 1 . If test light does not illuminate, go to step  11 . If test light illuminates, go to step  12 .
  10. Repair open or high resistance in Purple wire between IPC harness connector and CRANK SIGNAL, BCM, CLUSTER fuse. See WIRING DIAGRAMS in ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS - INTRIGUE article. After repair, go to step  15 .
  11. With test light connected as in step  9 , turn ignition switch from LOCK to RUN, then START positions (engine may start). Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. If test light illuminate in RUN and START positions, go to step  13 . If test light does not illuminate in RUN and START positions, go to step  14 .
  12. Repair short to power in Purple wire between IPC harness connector and CLUSTER, PCM and BCM fuse. See WIRING DIAGRAMS in ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS - INTRIGUE article. After repair, go to step  15 .
  13. Replace instrument cluster. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS - INTRIGUE article.
  14. Repair open or high resistance in Purple wire between IPC harness connector and CLUSTER, PCM and BCM fuse. See WIRING DIAGRAMS in ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS - INTRIGUE article. After repair, go to step  15 .
  15. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Reinstall all components and connectors. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Check for DTCs. If any DTCs are current, Go to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK in ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS - INTRIGUE article. If no DTCs are current, system is operating properly.
