Idle Learn Procedure

NOTE: When Powertrain Control Module (PCM) or battery are disconnected, PCM loses power, or PCM is reprogrammed, PCM learned idle position is lost. When learned idle position is lost, engine idle will be unstable.

NOTE: PCM will reset the IAC valve whenever ignition is turned on, then off.

Turn ignition on, with engine off. Turn OFF ignition for 5 seconds. Start and warm engine to normal operating temperature and check for proper operation.
