Knee Bolster: Installation

  1. Install the knee bolster to the instrument panel. See KNEE BOLSTER  .
  2. Install the bolts to the knee bolster at the steering column support. Tighten the knee bolster bracket at steering column support bolts 89 INCH lbs. (10 N.m).
  3. Install the bolts to the knee bolster at the instrument panel. Tighten the knee bolster bracket at instrument panel bolts to 18 INCH lbs. (2 N.m).
  4. Install the steering column opening filler. See STEERING COLUMN FILLER  .
  5. Install the left instrument panel insulator. See INSULATOR (LEFT SIDE)  .
