Installation Procedure

  1. Install the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer (1) into the vehicle and connect the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer wiring harness connector to the sensor.
  2. Install the 2 yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer retaining nuts.

  3. Position the front floor center console trim plate back onto the front floor center console.
    • Connect the traction control switch wiring harness connector to the traction control switch.
    • Align the front floor console trim plate to the front floor console and carefully press the retaining clips into the correct mounting holes in the front floor console.
  4. Close the front floor console cupholder.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE
  5. Install the 2 retainers that attach the front floor console trim plate to the front floor console.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the 2 retainers to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  6. Close the front floor center console armrest.
  7. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - ABS  to verify the repair.
