Mil Inoperative: Description

Voltage is supplied to the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL). The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) turns the MIL ON by grounding the MIL control circuit. There should be a steady MIL with the ignition ON and the engine OFF.
