Electronic Spark Control System: Description: Notes
Electronic Spark Control (ESC) system is governed by a Spark Control Computer, various engine sensors and a specially calibrated carburetor. The function of this system is to provide a method for the engine to burn a lean air/fuel mixture.
NOTE:
All California vehicles and Federal 318" 4-Bbl. equipped vehicles have an Electronic Spark Combustion Computer.
