Automatic Transaxle Vehicles

Ensure engine is at normal operating temperature. With engine at idle, turn A/C on and ensure A/C compressor clutch is engaged. Increase engine RPM to wide open throttle and ensure A/C clutch is disengaged. If compressor clutch fails to disengage, check throttle position sensor adjustment. See TUNE-UP PROCEDURES article.
