Power Steering Switch

  1. Separate power steering oil pressure switch connector. Start engine and check for continuity between switch terminal and body ground with steering wheel in straight-ahead position, and with steering wheel turned.
  2. When wheel is straight-ahead, there should be not continuity. When wheel is turned, resistance should be 33 ohms or less. If results are otherwise, go to POWER STEERING SYSTEM  test.
