Throttle Position Sensor/Switch: Turbochargers: Inspection

Check turbocharger case for cracks or damage and replace as necessary. Remove any carbon or corrosion and check turbine and compressor wheels for damage. Make sure turbine and compressor wheels turn smoothly. Apply pressure into wastegate actuator through nipple and make sure actuator and wastegate valve linkage operate properly.
