2.2L/2.5L SPFI Tests/Code: Description: Notes

The Single Point Fuel Injection (SPFI) computerized engine control system controls the fuel system, ignition system and emission control system.

The engine control system utilizes a Single Module Engine Controller (SMEC) to regulate air/fuel ratio, charging system, cooling fan, emission control components, idle speed and ignition timing.
