Electro-Mechanical Instrument Cluster Module

The Electro-Mechanical Instrument Cluster (EMIC) module may also be referred to as the Smart Cluster Control Module (SCCM). The instrument cluster includes a speedometer, odometer, tachometer (if equipped), fuel gauge, water temperature gauge, Vacuum Fluorescent (VF) display, turn signal and high beam indicators, and a series of warning lights. EMIC module controls interior lights, courtesy lights, all instrument illumination, exterior lights and chime system. EMIC module communicates with other modules via the Programmable Communication Interface (PCI) bus circuit.
