All Doors Fail To Lock

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Black 26-pin RKE module connector, located under center of instrument panel top cover. See Figure . Using ohmmeter, check resistance between RKE module connector terminal No. 4, door lock driver circuit (Orange/Black wire) and ground. See Figure . If resistance is 1000 ohms or more, go to next step. If resistance is less than 1000 ohms, repair short to ground on Orange/Black wire.
  2. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between RKE module connector terminals No. 4, door lock driver circuit (Orange/Black wire) and No. 16, deck lid release driver circuit (Light Green/Black wire). If resistance is 100 ohms or more, go to next step. If resistance is less than 100 ohms, repair short between circuits.
  3. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between RKE module connector terminals No. 5, driver's door unlock driver circuit (Pink/Black wire) and No. 16, deck lid release driver circuit (Light Green/Black wire). If resistance is 100 ohms or more, go to next step. If resistance is less than 100 ohms, repair short between circuits.
  4. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between RKE module connector terminals No. 6, door unlock driver circuit (Pink./Violet wire) and No. 16, deck lid release driver circuit (Light Green/Black wire). If resistance is less than 100 ohms, repair short between circuits. If resistance is 100 ohms or more, replace RKE module. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
