Control Lever Position Sensor
- Connect a voltmeter to the "Blue/Yellow" and "Blue/Red" color coded terminals without disconnecting the control lever position sensor connector. The "Blue/Yellow" wire is positive and the "Blue/Red" wire is negative.
- Move the control lever so the clearance between the control lever and the idle stopper is .275" (7 mm). Control lever sensor is normal if voltage is 3.3-4.4 volts, after starting engine. If not, replace sensor.
