Caster Adjustment

NOTE: Jounce vehicle several times to settle suspension. Release on down stroke. Check for proper tire pressure, worn steering or suspension components.
  1. Caster angle may be changed with relocation of 2 washers located between legs of upper control arm. An adjustment kit containing 2 washers is available. One washer is .12" (3 mm) thick and the other is .36" (9 mm) thick.
  2. When adjusting caster, always use two washers that total .472" (12 mm) thickness, with one washer at each end of locating tube. With thin washer in front, change is plus 1°. With washers reversed, change is minus 1°. Left-to-right side caster angles should be within 2° of each other.
