1.6L Engine

There are no moving parts in the PCV system. Maintenance consists of inspecting hoses to ensure they remain clear and in serviceable condition. The vacuum orifice in the intake manifold should be checked on a regular basis and cleaned as necessary. System performance is dependent on engine sealing. Faulty seals or an excessively worn engine will cause sludge build-up or oil contamination.
