Difficult To Start

If vehicle cranks okay, but is difficult to start or starts and immediately dies, check the following items:

• Check fuel for contamination.
• Ensure fuel pressure is within specification.
• Ensure throttle position sensor is okay.
• Check EGR operation.
• Ensure fuel pump check valve is okay.
• Ensure ignition system output is correct.
